Did you ever Google something? What did you find? Did you know that Google never forgets anything? And which picture would you use as a profile picture. And why? And what is a good password? How often do you change it? And what fun things do you do on the computer? Have you ever made your own movie? Or do you watch movies on line? In this three-hour workshop you will learn all about how to use the internet in a safe way. Depending on the age of the participants, we play a memory game at the end of the presentation or create ‘memes’ and make 5 shots movies
Duration of the workshop 3 hours
The workshop is for school classes (max 30 children) all ages from 8-15 years

In the past 10 years Pauline Maas has given a lot of presentations about literacy and IT. Pauline used to work as an IT specialist and is mother of four adolescent children. She is the author of the book GameMaker4School which teaches children how to make their own computer games and she developed a memory game which motivate teens to reflect on their online behavior.
