Are they Media Literate?
The teachers first receive a presentation on the topic media literacy. This is based on the competence model of Media Awareness Knowledge Network. We will make an inventory of what challenges you are faced with in your classes.
There is a lot of lesson material which provides ideas and examples of how other schools to deal with them.
After this, see for yourself what lessons, tools and handles about literacy you wish to use at your school. Each participant will go home with an internet memory game which can be used by students of 8-12 years as a discussion starter.
