Sense Poetry – Slideshow Activity

Goal:

Provide a session for students where they will learn how to create PowerPoint slides with text and images that will define a concept through 5 senses.

Objective

Students will:

  • Define an emotion through the senses.
  • Add text to PowerPoint slides.
  • Fancying slides with photos, background and border designs, transitions and/or other special effects.
 
Workshop Length: 2 ½ hoursDate: Wednesday, May 21st, 2014

Time: 5:00 – 7:30 PM

 

 Prerequisite:  
Workshop Requirements: Grade levels 1 to 3 students should be accompanied by an adult. 
Optional Pre-Session Readings:  

  • Books or internet resources about the five senses.
